How to Care for Your Jewelry

Your Auryn pieces are made to be worn every day. A few small habits will keep them looking beautiful for years.

Wear it. Love it. Just keep this in mind.

Take it off before showering, swimming, or working out. Water won't ruin it, but keeping it dry helps it stay beautiful the longest. Put your jewelry on last — perfume, lotion, hairspray, sunscreen — let it all dry first, then put your pieces on. These products can dull the sparkle over time.

Storage

Don't toss it all in one pile. Pieces can scratch each other. Store each one separately in the pouch or box it came in, or in a lined jewelry box. Keep it somewhere dry — a drawer works, a bathroom counter doesn't.

Cleaning

A soft, dry cloth after wearing is enough to keep it looking fresh. For a deeper clean, use warm water with a tiny drop of mild soap, gently rub with a soft cloth, rinse, and pat dry. Skip harsh chemicals, jewelry dips, and ultrasonic cleaners — they can damage the plating.

Tarnishing

Sterling silver can develop a natural patina over time — that's normal, not a defect. A quick polish with a soft cloth brings it right back. Gold vermeil holds up well with basic care. If you notice any fading, that's usually from too much exposure to chemicals or moisture.
